The art of preservation occurred when something is most dear to us or required for sustaining ourselves. It's the basic need of the homo sapiens that achieve the aspects of preserving. Our culture, history, customs, relics, artifacts, that happened to be among us are the reason that they have been kept safe and passed and transformed through generations, with alterations and changes that add essence for what is being followed today.
The constant change though subtle it may be, has been always there in society and civilisations. Moving from one demographic location to other subliminal effects are observed. People following the customary attributes consciously or unconsciously are driving force behind the strengthening of the cultures. People are thus the reason themselves in preserving what they have until and unless an outward movement and force strong enough that can destabilise the customs but not those that are rigid and strongly preserved.
